Create Letters

To create a Letter:
1. On the Recruiter's Office home page, click Manage Letters under Administration.
The Manage Letters screen appears.
2. Click Create a New Letter.
The Create a Letter screen appears.
3. Note the following as you complete the Create a Letter fields:
There is no limit on the number of Letters you can create.
All fields are required.
The Title field is for your use only to distinguish one Letter from another. It is not visible to job seekers and can be up to 50 characters long.
You can enter text directly or paste it into the Content field. This field has a 4,000 character limit.
Click Save Letter to store the Letter on ChiefMonster.
Click  Clear to remove the information you entered.

Edit Letters Top

To edit a Letter:
1. On the Recruiter's Office home page, click Manage Letters under Administration.
The Manage Letters screen appears.
2. Click the Letter title that you want to edit, or click Edit for Letter you want to edit.
The Create a Letter screen appears displaying the contents of the Letter you selected.
3. Note the following as you complete the Create a Letter screen:
To replace text, first select the text and then enter information over it.
All fields are required.
The Title field is for your use only to distinguish one cover Letter from another. It is not visible to employers and can be up to 50 characters long.
You can enter text directly or paste it into the Letter Content field. This field has a 4,000 character limit.
Click Save Letter to store the Letter on ChiefMonster.
Click  Clear to remove the information you entered.

Copy or Delete Letters Top

To copy or delete Letters:
1. On the Recruiter's Office home page, select Manage Letters under Administration.
The Manage Letters screen appears.
2. Depending on the action you want to perform, do one of the following:
To copy a Letter, click Copy for that Letter.
A copy of the Letter appears at the bottom of the Letter Listings and Activity.
To delete a Letter, click Delete for that Letter.
When you are prompted to confirm the delete, click OK.

NOTE: You cannot retrieve deleted Letters.

Send Letters Top

You can send a letter to any candidate you have found on ChiefMonster by clicking the Letters button on the resume.
 
To send a Letter:
1. When viewing the resume of a candidate you want to send the Letter to, click Letters in the upper-right-hand corner of the resume.
The Letter Correspondence window appears.
2. Select the title of the Letter you want to send from the list.
3. Click Send to send the Letter. The Letter Correspondence window closes.
4. Click Cancel to exit without sending the Letter.
