Resume Notes

Resume Notes are comments in an electronic note pad attached to a job seeker's resume.
Resume
Notes let you and your fellow company recruiters keep each
other informed about a job seeker's suitability for a position,
the status of an application, and any scheduled follow-ups,
etc.
With this
feature, you and other members of your company can:

Add/edit notes to a job seeker's resume |
|
•
|
View notes on a job seeker's resume |
|
•
|
Delete notes from a job seeker's resume |
|

|
|
|
Note: You can only edit notes that
you created. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
NOTE: You can only view company-wide notes
created by someone else within your
company. |
|
To view a note attached to a job seeker's
resume: |
|
|
| 1. |
On the
Recruiter's home page, click Resume Notes under
Resume. |
|
The Resume Notes
page lists the resumes of job seekers who have applied to
your postings. |
|
|
| 2. |
Click
on the resume title to which the note you want to view is
attached. |
|
The
job seekers full resume appears. |
|
|
| 3. |
Click Notes at the top of the
resume. |
|
All notes attached to that resume appear in a pop-up
window. |
|
Adding/editing resume notes
|
|
|
Note: You can only edit notes that you created.
|
|
To add/edit a resume note:
|
| 1. |
On the Recruiter's home page, click Resume Notes under Resume. |
|
The Resume Notes page lists the resumes of job seekers who have applied to your postings. |
|
|
| 2. |
Click on the resume title to which you want to add or edit a note. |
|
The job seekers full resume appears. |
|
|
| 3. |
Click Notes at the top of the resume. |
|
All notes attached to that resume appear in a pop-up window. |
|
|
| 4. |
Click Add Notes at the top of the pop-up window or click Edit for the note you want to edit. |
|
Another pop-up window appears. |
|
|
| 5. |
Complete the pop-up window as follows: |
|
|
|
|
What type of note?
|
To make a note visible only by you, click Private. To make a note visible to everyone in your company, click Company-wide.
|
|
|
|
|
Enter a title for the note:
|
Give your note a brief title to describe what will appear in your note.
|
|
|
|
|
Enter the note:
|
Enter the text of the note.
|
|
|
|
|
Enter a date to receive an email reminder:
|
If you want an email reminder about this job seeker, select the day and month from the drop-down lists.
|

|
|
|
Save/Cancel
|
Click Save to save your changes or Cancel to exit without saving.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
NOTE: You can only delete notes that you created.
|
|
To delete a note attached to a job seeker's resume:
|

On the Recruiter's home page, click Resume Notes under Resume. |
|
The Resume Notes page lists the resumes of job seekers who have applied to your postings. |

Click on the resume title to which the note you want to delete is attached. |
|
The job seekers full resume appears. |
|
|
| 3. |
Click Notes at the top of the resume. |
|
All notes attached to that resume appear in a pop-up window. |
|
|
| 4. |
Click Delete for
the note you want to delete. A message prompt will appear,
asking you to confirm the deleting. |
|
|
| 5. |
Click OK to delete the
note, or Cancel to keep it. |
