The job summary report provides summary information about all your company's job postings on ChiefMonster.

The job postings list provides information about every job your company posted on ChiefMonster, which includes tracking how many ChiefMonster job seekers have viewed and/or applied to the posting.

View Job Posting Summary Report

The Job Posting summary report provides summary information about all your company's job postings on ChiefMonster.
To view the job posting summary report:
1.
On the ChiefMonster Recruiter's Office home page, click Manage Jobs under Jobs.
The Manage Jobs page appears.
2. Click the View Job Summary link at the page top.
The Job Summary pop-up window appears, displaying the following information:
Field

Description

# Jobs total The total number of jobs your company has posted on ChiefMonster.

# Job Postings Used The total number of job postings your company has listed.

# Current Job Postings Active The total number of active job postings on ChiefMonster for your company.

# Times Job Postings were viewed The total number of times all job postings for your company were viewed by ChiefMonster job seekers.

# Resumes Received via "Apply Online" The total number of resumes received online for all your company's job postings.

View/track the Job Postings List

To view/track the job postings list, click Manage Jobs under Jobs on the ChiefMonster Recruiter's Office home page. The Manage Jobs page appears. Expired job postings are shaded. The following information for each job you have posted on ChiefMonster is displayed:
Field

Description

User
The username of the person who entered the job posting.

 
ID
The unique ID number that ChiefMonster assigned to the job when it was posted. Click the ID to view a job posting.

Ref #

The reference code the recruiter assigned to this posting when it was posted through Submit Jobs. Ref # is an optional field designed that lets companies use their own reference codes for  job postings for tracking purposes.

For example, if you have several postings with the same title, assigning reference codes to those postings helps you to track them better on ChiefMonster.


Posted
The date the posting was originally posted online.

Expires
The date the posting will "expire," which means it will no longer appear online or be searchable by job seekers.

Location
The area the job posting is located. Depending on the city, this can include its city, town, state, province, and/or country (or a combination thereof) .

Title
The job title for this posting. Click the title to view and/or edit your company's contact information associated with a posting.

Views
The total number of ChiefMonster job seekers who have viewed this posting.

Apps
The total number of ChiefMonster job seekers who have applied to this posting. Click the app number for a job to view the Applications page, where you can view, route, and add notes to resumes of the job seekers who applied to a posting.

Select
Clicking this check box is how you select/deselect a posting.

View a Job Posting

You can view active and expired job postings. To view a single job posting:
1.
On the ChiefMonster Recruiter's Office home page, click Manage Jobs under Jobs.
The Manage Jobs page appears.
2. Click on the ID number of the posting you want to view.
The complete posting appears.

Sort the Job Postings List

To sort the Job Postings List:
1.
On the ChiefMonster Recruiter's Office home page, click Manage Jobs under Jobs.
The Manage Jobs page appears.
2. Depending on how you want to sort the job postings list, do one of the following:
To sort the job postings list this way:

Click this:

Alphabetically by recruiter name User

 

 
Numerically by ID
(from lower ID number to higher ID number)
ID


By reference code
(numerically or alphabetically, depending
on your code)
Ref#


In reverse chronological order
(meaning that the job posted most
recently appears at the list bottom)

(with the job to expire first appearing at the list top)

Change a Job Posting

To change a Job Posting:
1.
On the ChiefMonster Recruiter's Office home page, click Manage Jobs under Jobs.
The Manage Jobs page appears.
2. Click on the job title for the posting you want to change.
An Edit Job screen will appear which allows you to make any changes to this posting.
3. Make the desired changes to the posting.
4. Click Submit This Job at the bottom of the first Finishing Up screen to save your changes.
A second Finishing Up screen appears informing you that your changes have been submitted.

Expire or Renew a Job Posting

To expire or renew a job posting:
1.
On the ChiefMonster Recruiter's Office home page, click Manage Jobs under Jobs.
The Manage Jobs page appears.
2. Select the appropriate box under Select, for the posting or postings you want to expire or renew.
3. Click the appropriate action button at the page bottom:
Click Expire Selected Jobs to expire the posting(s).
 
Each posting you selected is shaded in grey to indicate it is now expired. Expiring a job takes the posting off the actively searched opportunity list so that job seekers can no longer see it; however, a copy is kept on ChiefMonster.
 
Click Renew Selected Jobs, to renew the posting(s).
 
A pop-up window appears warning you that renewing this posting will affect your job package. Renewing a job either withdraws from your job package or results in an additional charge. It also gives the position a new posting and expiration date, as well as a new job ID.
 
Click OK to confirm you want to renew the posting. The grey shading is removed from each posting you selected to indicate it is now renewed.

View Job Applicant Resumes

To view a Job Applicant resume:
1.
On the ChiefMonster Recruiter's Office home page, click Manage Jobs under Jobs.
The Manage Jobs page appears. The number displayed under Apps indicates the total number or ChiefMonster job seekers who have applied to this posting.
2. Click the number under Apps.
A list of resume titles for all applicants appears. If you have designated competency levels, each job seeker's percentage scores relative to those competencies appear as well.
3. To view an applicant's entire resume, click on the resume title for that job seeker.
The applicant's entire resume appears.

Jobs listed as incomplete

An "Incomplete" next to an opportunity posting under the "Select" column means that not all of the required pages were completed and the Submit button on page 6 of the Opportunity Builder was not pressed. If a job is designated as "Incomplete", it will not be searchable by job seekers. In order to make the posting active, or to expire it from the list of jobs, please click on the job title and continue through all 6 pages making sure all information is completed. On page 6 please make sure to select the Submit button.
